Amanda Sorell is a writer and editor with 13+ years of experience in publishing. She studied creative writing and journalism at the University of Kansas, and she continues to take creative writing classes at Hugo House. Since 2012, she has worked behind the scenes at leading sustainability publication Mother Earth News, where she's a Managing Editor. Her writing has been published in Mother Earth News, B the Change Media, Mother Earth Living, Grit, and the South Seattle Emerald. She also edits for the South Seattle Emerald. She lives in Seattle.
